Elizabeth Warren won the day this Sunday September 8th in the 2019 Solano Stroll Staw Poll!

We had 660 voters choose their favorite Democratic Primary candidates in our Albany Democratic Club straw poll and here are the results:

​

• Elizabeth Warren garnered 36% overall, with Bernie Sanders taking 21% followed by Kamala Harris with 17%. Pete Buttigieg took 9%, Andrew Yang 6%, and Joe Biden 5%

• Elizabeth Warren was also the favorite "2nd choice candidate" with 30%. Here Kamala was the runner up with 19%, followed by Bernie with 16%

• While Kamala was the favorite among the under 18 year old crowd with 37% of their vote, Elizabeth remained the most popular among all other age groups (18-29, 30-44, 45-64, and 65+) winning 39% to 45% in each

Please note that this was NOT a scientific poll.  We invited everyone to participate, no matter their age (under 18s welcome), voter registration, or even residency status.  Regardless of the lack of accuracy, democracy was in full action at the Stroll!
